PENTAPHONICS
The Argentine musician and guitarist Camilo Córdoba brings together renowned artists from the European music scene to launch his new project: PENTAPHONICS.
Although the influence of tango can be felt in the approach to sound and texture, this group goes far beyond, exploring modern musical landscapes and blending various contemporary styles, with the guitar as the central axis of its musical expression.
In this ensemble, traditional instruments such as the bandoneon are reimagined and integrated into an innovative musical context, fusing elements of Latin American music, jazz, and global influences. The result is a fresh and deeply original sound.
Camilo Córdoba’s quintet will release its highly anticipated second album in February 2026. This work redefines the connection to musical roots, offering a modern perspective that combines innovation, experimentation, and a unique fusion of styles.
This project is supported by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
