SERÁ MAÑANA (2026)
Camilo Córdoba – double quintet
Será Mañana is an artistic project that explores how tango continues to evolve across generations, cultures and musical traditions.
Recorded in two stages between Argentina and Europe, it brings together renowned musicians from both continents in a dialogue between tradition and contemporary creation.
About the Album
SERÁ MAÑANA is an album born from an ongoing exploration of how memory and imagination coexist within the same music, and how tango can continue to evolve while remaining deeply connected to its roots.
Rather than presenting a single aesthetic, the album brings together different musical perspectives that unfold through collaboration, interpretation, and creation. Each ensemble emerges from a distinct artistic intention, shaped by the musicians whose voices naturally belong to that search.
At its core, Será Mañana understands tango not as a repertoire to be preserved unchanged, but as a living language—capable of transformation, dialogue, and continuous renewal across time, places, and generations.
In this view, tradition and innovation are not opposing forces, but part of the same creative process: memory becomes material for creation, while imagination offers new ways of listening to what already exists.
This vision finds expression through two complementary ensembles, each revealing a different facet of the same artistic journey.

The Artist Behind the Project
Born in Buenos Aires in 1982 and based in Brussels since 2016, CAMILO CORDOBA is one of the most active tango guitarists in Europe today.
Since beginning his professional music career around the year 2000, he has focused primarily on live performance, collaborating with numerous tango ensembles—spanning traditional, contemporary, and fusion styles—as well as Latin American groups and other genres.
Among his most notable projects are the renowned VIOLENTANGO (Argentina), SONICO (Belgium), and QUINTETO ENSUEÑOS (France), with which he has performed at major festivals and prestigious venues across Europe, North America, Hong Kong, and Latin America.
He has received recognition from the Argentine Ministry of Culture, which declared his quintet “Of Cultural and Artistic Interest” in 2012, and from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, which named him an “Ambassador of Cultural Heritage” in 2013—acknowledging Violentango as part of Argentina’s national identity.
